Sweets & Treats Birthday Card Idea

November is a busy birthday month for me and believe me I’m not complaining because that just means that I can create more cards.

This stamp set is so much fun with so many Sweets & Treats to choose from to create fun cards.

SWEETS & TREATS PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

I also used the balloon stamp and die that is in the Hippo Happiness stamp set and the larger balloon from the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set. I have made other birthday cards using the Hey Birthday Chick set that you can see in my post from March.

All of the images were stamped on Basic White cardstock with Memento Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends and either used paper snips to cut the images or used the Mini Cut Emboss Machine with the die.

Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy to create beautiful cards and a bonus to be able to mix and match stamp sets together to make a really fun greeting card.

Another way to make your handmade greeting card extra special is to take some of the cardstock that you used in the card to add to the flap of your envelope.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! Inspiring Iris Card Ideas

I hope you are doing well during our Stay at Home quarantine time. I have found the last month hard to create because all I have been doing in watching tv and feeling uncertain about everything that is going on. But yesterday I went into my office and started creating and it felt soooo good.

The stamp set that I pulled out of my stamp case was Inspiring Iris

The images in this set are so pretty and being a two step stamp set, makes it super easy to change the color of the flowers.

(Two Step Stamping is carefully layering two or more stamped images)

Now that I am back creating, I will be posting more often. And if you feel like you are in a “stamping slump” or just worried about what is going on in the world now with the virus, all I can say is just get back into your crafting space and start creating. It will make you feel better.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Sale-A-Bration and Card Making

I am having so much fun making cards with all of the new Stampin’ Up! Stamp sets that are available in the mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure.

Sale-A-Bration ends at the end of this month, so if you were wanting a particular item in the brochure you should place your order and get your free product before its sold out.

Look at these pretty cards that we made in our card class last week.

Stampin’ Up! has done it again with the Best Dressed Suite found on page 54 of the mini catalog. From this set we made the cutest purse that holds 3×3 cards perfectly for a great gift or it can hold candy or gift card (possibilities endless of what you can put inside).

We also created two cards made with the Under My Umbrella Bundle. This bundle contains 15 stamps and 1 umbrella builder punch. I love bundles that contain punches because when I have a class it so much easier to bring a punch vs dies because when you have dies, you need a die cutting machine.

I love seeing these smiles at our monthly card class. We have so much fun creating cards and other kinds of paper crafts.

Don’t forget Sale-A-Bration is ending on March 31st. Check out the free products that you can get with an order of $50.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

The Island Stamper’s Card Class

My 2020 started with a card class that I hold locally at SJ Brewing Co. We meet every month for a evening of creative fun!

We created beautiful cards and a Valentines Day treat box with Stampin’ Up! Stamps, Punches and Designer Series Paper from the 2020 Mini Catalog.

I just love getting together with friends while creating beautiful cards and gifts.

We used the new stamp set Timeless Tulips which has a coordinating punch to make a get well card.

For the Valentines Cards we used two different stamp sets.

Heartfelt which if you purchase the bundle you receive the Stamp Set plus two Heart Punches. And the beautiful From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper

The other stamp set is now discontinued but it was called Birds Of A Feather. We have used all the stamps in this set in our previous card classes for various holidays.

Now here is the fun part. Since it’s Sale-A-Bration time at Stampin’ Up! with every $50 you spend you get to choose a product from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure for FREE

So for my FREE products I chose the stamp set Thoughtful Blooms and the Small Bloom Punch that coordinates. With this set we made really pretty congratulation and thank you cards.

Just think if you place an order of $50 or more you can choose FREE products from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.

Have fun shoppping and come join in on all of the fun at this Yulee card class.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Making Ornaments with Stampin’ Up! Christmas Gleaming

I am in love with this stamp set Christmas Gleaming with coordinating ornament punches.

Of course you will be able to make beautiful Christmas Cards and scrapbook pages, but did you know that you can also make gorgeous 3D Ornaments for your tree.

You can find this great set on page 31 in the 2019 Holiday Catalog. But you need to hurry because the Holiday Catalog is coming to an end on January 2, 2020.

The best part is there is still time to order these punches so you can start making ornaments for your tree next year or get a head start on Christmas gifts.

You need to place your order before January 2, 2020. All you have to do is go to my shopping page at TheIslandStamper.stampinup.net and add this great stamp & punch set to your cart. You might want to get some of the Designer Series Paper too!

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!
