One More Card Idea Using Stampin’ Up! Inspiring Iris Stamp Set

This month I have shared with you card ideas using all the flowers in the Inspiring Iris Stamp Set and I think this last flower in this set is a rose but I am really not sure.

But, what I am sure about is that it makes a really pretty patterned paper.  I think by not using the detailed stamps when creating this card gave it a more abstract looking design.

Hope my card ideas inspired you to create some cards for yourself.

I want to say Thanks for being part of my stamping family and I also hope you are all doing as good as you can through this uncertain time in all of our lives.

Until next time my friends,

Inspiring Iris Stamp Set – Don’t Let The Name Fool You

Happy Monday My Friends! Lately I’m not sure what day it is since we are all staying home to stop the spread of this virus.

So since I have to stay home why not stamp 🙂

I shared with you last time a card that I made with the Inspiring Iris stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

And today I am using the same stamp set, but did you know there are other flower you can stamp besides Irises?

Look at this pretty carnation that is also in this stamp set.

I used Whisper White Cardstock for the base of the card and layered Petal Pink Cardstock along with Designer Series Paper from the Best Dressed Suite. I love how this DSP has such pretty floral and abstract backgrounds on this double sided paper.

And I also used a Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin’ Pad. You can make your carnations any color that you like. And just in case you didn’t know, Stampin’ Up! has 50 colors you can choose from.

Have a wonderful week.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! Inspiring Iris Card Ideas

I hope you are doing well during our Stay at Home quarantine time. I have found the last month hard to create because all I have been doing in watching tv and feeling uncertain about everything that is going on. But yesterday I went into my office and started creating and it felt soooo good.

The stamp set that I pulled out of my stamp case was Inspiring Iris

The images in this set are so pretty and being a two step stamp set, makes it super easy to change the color of the flowers.

(Two Step Stamping is carefully layering two or more stamped images)

Now that I am back creating, I will be posting more often. And if you feel like you are in a “stamping slump” or just worried about what is going on in the world now with the virus, all I can say is just get back into your crafting space and start creating. It will make you feel better.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Joan 🙂
