Special Birthday Card Idea

Happy Wednesday My Friends,

I was going through my photos of cards that I had created last year and noticed that I forgot to share some of them with you.

This Special Birthday Card was created using Stampin’ Up! Brewed For You stamp set/dies along with Playful Alphabet Dies for the 60.

The candles were made with dies from The Stamps Of Life and colored with Stampin’ Blends and Copic alcohol markers.

This was such a fun card to make for my Dear Friends Special Birthday.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! Waves Of Inspiration Birthday Card

Happy Monday My Friends

This is the time of year that my card making goes into high gear.  We have a lot of birthdays and holidays that all need some handmade cards and believe me, I am not complaining.

I made this card using the Stampin’ Up! Waves Of Inspiration stamp set and it came out pretty cool 🙂

I used the Embossing Folder Stripes & Splatters, the one seen on this card is the Splatters, some Basic White Cardstock, Designers Series Paper and Night Of Navy Cardstock.

Also used Stitched So Sweetly dies, some twine and can’t forget Rhinestones.

This was a fun card to make with very little stamping, but with different size paper panels, embellishments, some dimension, you can still make a beautiful card.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Kite Delight Birthday Card Idea

Stampin’ Up!’s Kite Delight is such a fun stamp set and can be used for so many occasions.  This card was made as a Birthday Card for my nephew.

I layered Misty Moonlight Cardstock with Simply Marbleous Designers Series Paper that was offered during Sale-a-bration and using Basic White Cardstock for the card base and clouds.  I love all the different kite images and you can stamp as one color as I did or you can color them in with either Stampin’ Write markers, Stampin’ Blends or Pencils.

What I really liked about making this card is even though I had to fussy cut the kite and kite tail, it was easy using Stampin’ Up! Paper Snips Scissors.

Just think on all the different kind of handmade cards or scrapbook pages that you can make using this kite delight stamp set and Cloud Punch.  I punched the cloud a few times and used one just as it punched out and for others I cut the cloud in different places so it went off the card base.

Thanks for stopping by to see what I’ve been up to.  I hope you had a great week, now relax and enjoy your weekend.

Until next time friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Sweets & Treats Birthday Card Idea

November is a busy birthday month for me and believe me I’m not complaining because that just means that I can create more cards.

This stamp set is so much fun with so many Sweets & Treats to choose from to create fun cards.

SWEETS & TREATS PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

I also used the balloon stamp and die that is in the Hippo Happiness stamp set and the larger balloon from the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set. I have made other birthday cards using the Hey Birthday Chick set that you can see in my post from March.

All of the images were stamped on Basic White cardstock with Memento Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends and either used paper snips to cut the images or used the Mini Cut Emboss Machine with the die.

Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy to create beautiful cards and a bonus to be able to mix and match stamp sets together to make a really fun greeting card.

Another way to make your handmade greeting card extra special is to take some of the cardstock that you used in the card to add to the flap of your envelope.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Sweet Strawberry Birthday Card Idea

Hope you are enjoying your summer.  I can’t believe that summer is almost over, well the calendar says that, not the weather in Florida.

I created this Birthday Card using the  Sweet Strawberry bundle that is found in the Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog.

This bundle  comes with the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set and Strawberry Builder Punch.

I just love how yummy and fresh those strawberries look, and how simple they are to make using the Two-Step stamping technique.

I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the outline of the strawberries and Garden Green Classic Stampin’ Pad Ink for the outline of the leaves.

Then for the second step I used Poppy Parade Classic Stampin’ Pad Ink for the strawberries and Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin’ Pad for the leaves.

When I was done with all of the stamping, I used the Strawberry Builder Punch and punched all the images out and using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Stampin’ Seal Adhesive, I put the card together.

For the final touch, I decorated the envelope to coordinate with the card by covering the flap of the envelope with the same Designer Series Paper that was used on the birthday card.

I have a couple more ideas that are in the works for this stamp set that will also include the Measure Of Love stamp set that is on page 32 of the annual catalog.  As soon as I finish I will share.

You can find this great bundle along with so many more fantastic stamp sets and bundles and Designer Series Paper in the Annual Catalog and the Mini Catalog.

Don’t forget about Sale-A-Bration and you can earn FREE products from placing orders from both catalogs.  You can see all the FREE products by clicking on this link from one of my previous post called It’s Sale-A-Bration Time.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!
