Stampin’ Up! Waves Of Inspiration Birthday Card

Happy Monday My Friends

This is the time of year that my card making goes into high gear.  We have a lot of birthdays and holidays that all need some handmade cards and believe me, I am not complaining.

I made this card using the Stampin’ Up! Waves Of Inspiration stamp set and it came out pretty cool 🙂

I used the Embossing Folder Stripes & Splatters, the one seen on this card is the Splatters, some Basic White Cardstock, Designers Series Paper and Night Of Navy Cardstock.

Also used Stitched So Sweetly dies, some twine and can’t forget Rhinestones.

This was a fun card to make with very little stamping, but with different size paper panels, embellishments, some dimension, you can still make a beautiful card.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

It’s Time To Go Shopping and Earn Free Products

I love Christmas Shopping in July especially when it’s Sale-A-Bration time at Stampin’ Up!

The new Mini Holiday Catalog is the best and so is our Annual Catalog which makes it super easy to earn FREE Products from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.

Look at these adorable gift cards that I made using the FREE stamp set called Hippest Hippos and FREE Hippo Dies

Sale-A-Bration runs from July 1 through August 31 2022.

When you shop from the Annual Catalog and/or the Mini Catalog you will earn free gifts with your $50 and $100 orders 🙂

I was also super excited that the Returning Fave Penguin Place stamp set and Penguin builder punch are available again.

Have fun shopping all these wonderful products and I can’t wait to share with you more cards that I will be making during Sale-A-Bration.

Sweet Ice Cream Birthday Card Idea

Happy Sunday My Friends,

This is going to be a quick post.  I was so happy how this card came out that I wanted to share it with you.

This is also my first Slimline Card using Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Ice Cream stamp set with the coordinating Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch.

I needed 7 scoops of ice cream for this card because our Great Niece just turned 7 years old.  The only way these scoops would fit on this cone was to create a Slimline Card that fits into a business size envelope.

If you haven’t tried making a Slimline card give it a try, its really fun.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Card Idea

I had so much fun making my thank you notes for my customers this month using the Cactus Cuties stamp set/bundle from Stampin’ Up!

You can create a card for any occasion with this great stamp bundle.

You can purchase this stamp set separately or as a bundle which includes photopolymer (clear) stamps and a paper punch.

I have used so many different stamp/punch bundles over the years mainly because it so easy just to pull out the coordinating punch to make a flat card have some dimension.  I have nothing against “flat” cards lol I just love adding some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

What I really love about this set is that you can choose so many color options.  You can make the flower pots different colors as I did in my card or you can choose your favorite color or combo and coordinate some Designer Series Paper.  I finished the card with some ribbon and Pastel Pearls.

This set is available in the Mini Catalog along with so many other stamp sets and wonderful products that Stampin’ Up! offers.  Just a reminder that the Mini Catalogs sale period ends on June 30, 2022, so don’t miss out on this set.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Kite Delight Birthday Card Idea

Stampin’ Up!’s Kite Delight is such a fun stamp set and can be used for so many occasions.  This card was made as a Birthday Card for my nephew.

I layered Misty Moonlight Cardstock with Simply Marbleous Designers Series Paper that was offered during Sale-a-bration and using Basic White Cardstock for the card base and clouds.  I love all the different kite images and you can stamp as one color as I did or you can color them in with either Stampin’ Write markers, Stampin’ Blends or Pencils.

What I really liked about making this card is even though I had to fussy cut the kite and kite tail, it was easy using Stampin’ Up! Paper Snips Scissors.

Just think on all the different kind of handmade cards or scrapbook pages that you can make using this kite delight stamp set and Cloud Punch.  I punched the cloud a few times and used one just as it punched out and for others I cut the cloud in different places so it went off the card base.

Thanks for stopping by to see what I’ve been up to.  I hope you had a great week, now relax and enjoy your weekend.

Until next time friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Joan 🙂
