So Santa Card Idea #2

I want to share another #SimpleStamping card idea that I made with the So Santa stamp set from Stampin’ Up!.  Yesterday Santa was in his bathing suit and today we have a Baker Santa.

My Grandparents owned a bakery when I was growing up in New Jersey and there is no better smell in the world then cookies baking 🙂

This card I used Call Me Clover cardstock along with Whisper White.  I also used the same four dark Stampin’ Blend markers as I did yesterday.  Real Red, Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch and Crumb Cake.

The Clear Rhinestones were colored using the Stampin’ Blends.  I love just purchasing the clear rhinestones and then coloring them to coordinate with the color theme of my cards.

I’m not sure if i mentioned it in yesterdays post but I also used the Stitch Shaped Framelits.  If you don’t have these framelits I suggest that you get them because they just add such a special touch to any image that you stamp.

I will share one more card idea tomorrow from this fun stamp set.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! So Santa Card Idea

Tis the Season to make #HandmadeCards and I have the perfect stamp set to do just that.  Stampin’ Up!’s So Santa stamp set is so super cute!

I know that Santa and snow go together but when you live in Florida like I do you don’t see snow so that is why this Santa looks perfect with his feet in the sand instead of snow 🙂

I love the way this card turned out, and it was so simple to make.  I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored in with Stampin’ Blends! Added some layers of Whisper White and Real Red Cardstock and that’s it. A simple fun handmade card!

I will share another card tomorrow that I made from the same stamp set.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Creating Our 2013 Handmade Christmas Card

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

Today I want to share with you our 2013 Christmas Card.  I had so many ideas (does that surprise you – LOL) but I was really running out of time so I had to decide quick.

So with all of these supplies, I wanted a card that was not too complicated, but still looked good.  This year I think I have eaten more candy canes then ever before and not the peppermint ones either.  I bought raspberry ones that are yummy!  So it is appropriate that our card this year would be a candy cane.

I stamped the image with tuxedo black memento ink, and colored with Copic sketch markers and Prismacolor markers.  Then added some Stickles onto the bow for that extra “bling”.

This is what the card started to look like.  I found the story “Legend of the Candy Cane” online and printed it out on the same vanilla cardstock that I stamped the images on.  Then using red cardstock cut 3 panels and using the Martha Stewart border punch, I punched the top and bottom.

With each panel complete the final Christmas card looks pretty good.

Well now that I have them finally done, I need to get them out in the mail.  Thank goodness there are 12 days of Christmas 🙂

Make It A Great Day and Don’t Forget To Leave Time to Craft!
