Sending Birthday Wishes

Hello My Fellow Crafters:

Hope you all had a great weekend 🙂

This is a birthday card that I made for my sister-in-law.  I was really happy how it turned out, especially since I had cardstock and ink that really worked well together.

This card was made with a stamp set from CTMH called “From The Heart”.  What I really love about the stamps from this set is that you can stamp layers of each flower/leaf  and use different shades of color if you like or just color them with Copic markers like I did for this card.  Layering cardstock and using pop dots  adds the perfect dimension.

Birthday Card Ideas

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

As you all know I love making cards, and I want to share a Birthday Card that I made for our nephew.

For the base of the card I used solid black cardstock and then added this cool cardstock from Close To Heart that is called Jeepers Creepers.  The stamp set and thin cuts are from The Stamps of Life.

Had to add some bling so I added some liquid glass to the camera lens and some stickles to the flash for that extra bling 🙂

3 Cheers For A Happy Birthday

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

Birthday cards are really fun to make, especially when you have the perfect stamps and cardstock.  This card was made for my brother-in-law’s birthday.  Its always harder for me to make masculine cards, but I think this one came out pretty good.

3 cheers to you cardI really like how crisp the colors look when I put the black layer onto the colored cardstock.  This card was super easy to make once I got started 🙂

Happy Easter Card Idea

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing Easter.

Today I want to share with you the Easter Card I made this year.

2017 easter card

Who says you need real eggs to color at Easter…I didn’t color real eggs, but I sure had fun coloring these paper ones 🙂

The card base I used is called a Z fold which is super easy to make, plus it gives your card such a great look.

Using the Cricut Explore Air machine I cut out the flowers, stems and grass.  Since you could see the back of the flowers with this type of card, I cut the flowers out twice so I could glue them to the front and back of the stems.

And it can’t be an Easter Card without some Bunnies and Eggs, so  I used a few stamps that I had of cute Easter bunnies and Easter eggs.  Colored with Copic markers and some Spectrum Noir markers, then cut them out by hand and arranged them on the card.

This was such a fun card to make and of course I finished it off with some “bling” using rhinestones to decorate the eggs.

Just a reminder, If you plan on purchasing some Cricut products, there is FREE SHIPPING till the end of the month, and saving money on shipping means you can buy more products 🙂

Another Great Cricut Card Idea using the Paisley Cricut Cartridge for a Really Fun Birthday Card

I just got a new cell phone, a cute little Jest from Verizon.  My previous phone was really old and it was just a phone, no keyboard or any of the cool things that a cell phone has now a days.  So this new phone has a keyboard for text messaging and a pretty large screen so that I can see what I’m typing and most importantly what is being sent to me.  Now that I am all up to date with my new phone,  my niece and nephews are “texting” me, and it’s really great to be in touch with them.

I thought that this Cricut card idea of a cell phone would be just perfect.  So using the Paisley Cricut cartridge, and my Cricut Expression machine, I cut everything at 3 1/2″.  Then for a personal touch to this great birthday card I decided to also use some rubber stamps.  I stamped happy birthday using a hero arts stamp on a plain white piece of cardstock that is the screen of the cell phone.  Instead of numbers on the keypad, I stamped the birthday girls name Nicole,  using studio G stamps.  Then filling in the empty spaces with some rhinestones added that special “bling” that every card needs.   I also used the Glitter Sweet stack paper from DCWV for layering the background.

I can think of so many Cricut Card Ideas, and hopefully you can too.  So get busy and start creating your own special Cricut Cards.
