A 3-D Card Made From Stampin’ Up! Stamps

Hope you all are having a great week so far.  This past weekend I decided it was time to back up the photos on my phone and computer and put them on a CD just in case something would happen and I would loose a thousand plus memories.  That happened to me once and I was so upset, and I never want to go through that again.

I came upon this card that I made using one of the Stampin’ Up! stamp sets called Flower Patch.

What I loved about this stamp set was that it also had the framelits dies which made it so easy to cut out the images with the Big Shot and not a scissor.

I know that this stamp set is no longer available but let me tell you, there are so many beautiful flower stamps in our catalog right now that have coordinating framelits dies.  For example Bouquet Blooms, or Falling Flowers and even Flourishing Phrases has a really pretty flower and leaves that coordinate with Flourish Thinlits.   These are just a few of the beautiful stamp sets that make card making so easy.

If you haven’t looked through the new Stampin’ Up! catalog, you should visit TheIslandStamper.stampinup.net and see all of the wonderful stamps, papers and accessories they offer for every occasion.

Have a Great Week!

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You Birthday Card Idea

If you have this stamp set already you know its awesome! and if you don’t have it, I think you should get your next order ready and order Beautiful You 🙂

I had fun making this birthday card because it felt like I made a dress for a paper doll.  Let me explain.  I have so much designer paper that has been discontinued for years that I don’t know what to do with but I watched a video from a fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator Ronda Wade and she uses all of her paper to customize envelopes for her cards.  So what I did with this card is use for the envelope flap but also for the dress.

I first stamped the image on the very vanilla cardstock then again on the designer paper and using my paper snips I just cut out the dress and glued it onto the first image.  It was almost like dressing a paper doll.

There are so many fun cards you can make with this great stamp set.  And remember, you can always use old designer paper on envelope flaps (it makes your card look really classy)

~ Happy Birthday Nicole ~
