One More Card Idea Using Stampin’ Up! Inspiring Iris Stamp Set

This month I have shared with you card ideas using all the flowers in the Inspiring Iris Stamp Set and I think this last flower in this set is a rose but I am really not sure.

But, what I am sure about is that it makes a really pretty patterned paper.  I think by not using the detailed stamps when creating this card gave it a more abstract looking design.

Hope my card ideas inspired you to create some cards for yourself.

I want to say Thanks for being part of my stamping family and I also hope you are all doing as good as you can through this uncertain time in all of our lives.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy The SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! Birds Of A Feather Celebrates Thanksgiving

I shared with you earlier in the month a Halloween card that I made using the “Birds Of A Feather” stamp set. Today I want to share a Thanksgiving card using the same set.

I also made my own background print using another great holiday stamp set called “To Every Season“. There are 3 leaves in this stamp set that I used to make my original background cardstock using Crumb Cake as the card base. Then I colored the image of the turkey with assorted Stampin’ Blends and for the final touch I layered the image after cutting out with the Layering Ovals onto Real Red and Pumpkin Pie cardstock.

Look how cute this Thanksgiving Turkey is and more important, think of the person who is opening up your handstamped card. You will be making that special someone smile and that’s why we make our own cards 🙂

Look at all these holiday Birds that will look so super cute on a handstamped greeting card or a Scrapbook page.

Now look at all the fun images in the stamp set, I know that I will be using them for my own background card base for the upcoming holidays which would be Christmas and Valentines Day too!

This is why I love being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I get to share with you all the fun cards that I have been creating using all of these Wonderful Stampin’ Up! stamp sets.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Happy October ~ Trick or Treat Card Idea

Fall is my favorite time of year and Stampin’ Up! has so many fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving stamps to choose from. If you haven’t looked through the catalogs I really think you should, then you will see for yourself all the great images that are available (Annual Catalog and Holiday Catalog) visit TheIslandStamper.stampinup.net and download the PDF.

This card was made with the “Birds Of A Feather” stamp set. This little duck dressed up like a pirate is such a cute image to create a Halloween card and it was super easy to make too!

I just stamped the image on Whisper White cardstock, colored with Stampin’ Blends, then layered on top of assorted colored cardstock and that’s it. You have a great card to put in the mail and make someone smile!

What I really love about this set is that its not just for Halloween and Thanksgiving it is also for Christmas and Valentines Day.

I can’t wait to make more Holiday Cards with this super cute stamp set.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Another Fun Card Idea Using Magical Mermaid

I want to share another card that I made with this fun stamp set Magical Mermaid.

This card was made using Whisper White & Blueberry Bushel cardstock, Blueberry Bushel & Seaside Spray classic ink pad, assorted Watercolor pencils blended with an Aqua Painter.  And for the background i used a sponge dauber with the seaside spray ink.

Oops I almost forgot, I also used the Stitched Shapes dies.

I think this stamp set is so fun.  Could it be that I live near the ocean and in a crazy way I would love to see a mermaid lol 🙂

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Joan 🙂
