A Halloween Cricut Card Idea Using The Designer’s Calendar Cartridge
Here is the quickest and cutest handmade Halloween greeting card. I used the Cricut Designer’s Calendar cartridge to cut out this hanging spider that was cut at 3 1/2 inches with my Cricut Expression machine and then attached it to a web that I cut with a Martha Stewart border punch.
This is a perfect “spooky” Cricut Card Idea that you can make using some of your paper scraps. We all have that pile of scraps, whether they are in a basket, box, or organized by color in a large envelope.
I stamped the inside of the A2 card with the clear stamp set that I still can’t remember who it is from (you can see picture in the post from the other day), but this time I used tuxedo black memento ink.
Now that I am looking at this picture, (and the card next to me) you may want to “bling” up your spider or the web with some stickles for a shimmery, sparkly effect. I just might do that!

A Fun Summer Handmade Greeting Card For A Pool Side Birthday Party
I have been having so much fun with these House Mouse Rubber Stamps lately. Have you ever just gone shopping in your own craft room, finding things that you didn’t know or forgot that you had? Well I think these House Mouse Rubber Stamps have a theme for just about anything.
My girlfriend was having a pool side birthday party so I had to keep with that theme for her handmade birthday card.
I used the House Mouse Bunny Cruise stamp. I first stamped the image in white cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Dye Ink. Then I colored the image with Copic Sketch markers.
Thinking that this card needed a little lift, I decided to cut out the image and used pop dots to make the 3-D look. It still wasn’t what I wanted so I stamped the image again on the white card stock and just colored in the little duck and the cocktail and cut them out and made another layer using pop dots for those to images to stand out even more. I used my clear embossing marker and some clear embossing powder on the cocktail to make it look like a shiny glass. After layering with some different color blue cardstock, and cut the bottom with a wavy cut from my Purple Cows paper cutter, and finished the handmade birthday card off with some polka dot ribbon.
I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it.

Making a Handmade Get Well Card Using Copic Sketch Markers and House Mouse Rubber Stamp
Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Today I needed to make a get well card and wanted a change of pace from using my Cricut Expression to using rubber stamps. I knew that I had the cutest House Mouse stamp that would be perfect to use with Copic Sketch markers.
So I stamped the image of white card stock using Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Colored in the image with some Copic Sketch markers.
I then cut the stamped image to 4 1/2 ” x 2 3/4″ and with my EK Success corner punch I rounded the edges. I placed that layer onto a burgundy piece of cardstock and again rounded the edges with the corner punch. I adhered them all together using the Ad-tech permanent bond tape runner.
I almost forget, for the ice cube. I used a clear/blue tinted embossing marker then added clear embossing powder and using my heat gun melted the powder to give the ice cube a shiny look.
This was a fun and also quick handmade card to make and hoping that it will make our friend feel a little better knowing that we are thinking of him.

Making a Handmade Birthday Card with the Paisley Cricut Cartridge
I hope that everyone is having a great week so far. I just finished making my brother in law a handmade birthday card using my Cricut Expression machine with the new Paisley Cricut cartridge, Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge, and also the Mini Monograms Cricut cartridge. It came out so great that I just had to share it with you.
My brother-in-law just ran in the New York City half marathon, so I wanted the theme of his handmade birthday card to be running.
I used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge for the background of the city, and the Paisley Cricut cartridge for the sneaker. The metal that he received was gold and had a Y cut out looking like a subway token. So I used the Mini Monograms Cricut cartridge to cut out the Y.
I had so much fun making this handmade birthday card, and I know that Harry will like it too!

Many Fun Cricut Card Ideas Using the Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge
Today I am making a Cricut Card, a birthday card to be exact, for my Godson Tyler who is turning 11 years old this month. I have so many great Cricut card ideas, but I want this birthday card to be really special and fun.
So, I got myself comfy on my sofa with my Gypsy for awhile and went through my cartridges and even some cartridges that I didn’t have, (you can view and also design with all the available cartridges with your Gypsy, you just can only cut with the cartridges that you own) to find something different, not just your ordinary birthday card look and I found it. I have such a great Cricut Card Idea!
Using the Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge, I found a fish bowl with some really cute fish and plants to put inside.
I cut the fish bowl using my Cricut Expression cutting machine at 3 inches, the fish at 1½ inches and the plant at 2 inches. I attached all the pieces to a 4×5½ white card with my glue glider pro and for the “bubbles” I used pop dots for dimension. I then added some stickles, funky fibers and a real star fish for the finishing touch. I wanted the Happy Birthday Tyler to look like bubbles coming out of the fishes’ mouth.
There are so many shapes in each cartridge, you just have to put your “creative hat” on and get crafting. You never know how it’s going to turn out, just wish for the best and remember “You Made it Yourself” , this is a handmade greeting card, which makes it even more special for the person who is receiving it!
~ Happy Birthday to my Fantastic Godson Tyler ~
Wish I could be there with you to celebrate and to give you a Big Hug & Kiss!
