Creating Any Occasion Cards with Stampin’ Up!

Lately I’ve been creating cards without putting a sentiment on the cover and just stamping it on the inside of the card. Doing it this way the recipient can keep the card out past the occasion if they like the card and want to show it off.

I’ve also been using my Designer Series Papers that I forget to use OR think its too pretty and don’t want to use it. Well those days are over I am using all of my supplies. It’s actually like going shopping in your own craft room with the exception of having to pay for it again ๐Ÿ™‚

I used a retired die set called Pierced Blooms from Stampin’ Up! to make this card. In the current catalog there is a new die set called Paper Florist that you can use to make a similar card. I’m really happy how this birthday card turned out.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the Sunshine!

Share A Milkshake Card Idea

Happy Friday My Friends,

I hope you all had a wonderful week. I have been in my “Craft World” creating some cards using stamps and coordinating dies from The Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog.

This is the one of my creations that I just have to share with you using the Share A Milkshake bundle.

Isn’t this bundle great? Think of all the different kind of cards you can make. My next card is definitely going to be an ice cream sundae or a Waffle Cone ice cream. I promise to share what I create.

Have a relaxing weekend!

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! Jar Of Flowers Card Ideas

I am having so much fun creating cards with this stamp set.ย  Jar of Flowers can be used with and without the jar.

I stamped these flower images on Whisper White cardstock, colored with Stampin’ Blends, cut out the images with Paper Snips, and final touch was adding Seaside Spray Scalloped Linen Ribbon, and Real Red Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon around a strip of Crumb Cake cardstock that was stamped with the flower stems in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Well I think for now I am going to put this great stamp set aside and start creating with a different set, BUT, I highly recommend purchasing this bundle from my online store, so you can have as much fun as I did creating beautiful handmade greeting cards.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

More Tropical Chic Card Ideas

I am still creating beautiful cards with the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Chic stamp set and Tropical Thinlits Dies.

Sometimes when you purchase a stamp set you have just one card in mind to make.ย  What I am really trying to do is when I purchase stamps I want to be able to make all kinds of cards and paper projects. I am finding out that with this stamp set & thinlits dies its really easy to accomplish what I am trying to do.

I had so much fun designing these cards because I was able to stamp different sayings in the center of the circle that makes this set so versatile for every occasion ๐Ÿ™‚

If you love this stamp set and thinlits dies you can order them on my website theislandstamper.stampinup.netย

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Beautiful Tropical Chic Wedding Card

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Chic stamp set along with Tropical Thinlits Dies make the most beautiful cards, especially this handmade Wedding Card for our Dear Friends.

I wanted this card to be special so instead of making a traditional card I decided to make a step card.ย  Once I put it all together, the front panel was too heavy and it wouldn’t stand up and I had to think of a way for it to work.

That’s when I thought of making “kind of an easel” and it worked ๐Ÿ™‚

The inside of the card was all hand written but I did layer DSP on the base of the card, then added a white panel on top of that with some stamped fern leaves along the side.

~ Congratulations Jim & Raquel ~

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!
