So Santa Card Idea #2

I want to share another #SimpleStamping card idea that I made with the So Santa stamp set from Stampin’ Up!.  Yesterday Santa was in his bathing suit and today we have a Baker Santa.

My Grandparents owned a bakery when I was growing up in New Jersey and there is no better smell in the world then cookies baking 🙂

This card I used Call Me Clover cardstock along with Whisper White.  I also used the same four dark Stampin’ Blend markers as I did yesterday.  Real Red, Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch and Crumb Cake.

The Clear Rhinestones were colored using the Stampin’ Blends.  I love just purchasing the clear rhinestones and then coloring them to coordinate with the color theme of my cards.

I’m not sure if i mentioned it in yesterdays post but I also used the Stitch Shaped Framelits.  If you don’t have these framelits I suggest that you get them because they just add such a special touch to any image that you stamp.

I will share one more card idea tomorrow from this fun stamp set.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! So Santa Card Idea

Tis the Season to make #HandmadeCards and I have the perfect stamp set to do just that.  Stampin’ Up!’s So Santa stamp set is so super cute!

I know that Santa and snow go together but when you live in Florida like I do you don’t see snow so that is why this Santa looks perfect with his feet in the sand instead of snow 🙂

I love the way this card turned out, and it was so simple to make.  I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored in with Stampin’ Blends! Added some layers of Whisper White and Real Red Cardstock and that’s it. A simple fun handmade card!

I will share another card tomorrow that I made from the same stamp set.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

I love this Stampin’ Up! Tropical Escape Suite.  You can order these items by just clicking on the links below.

Tropical Chic stamp set with the Tropical Thinlits and you cant forget the Tropical Escape Designers Series Paper.

These were so much fun to make and super easy too!

Step-By-Step Instructions:

Cardstock cut at 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″

1 – Score at 1″, 2″ and 4 3/4″

2 – Snip off the to ends

3 – Snip diagonally to make a tab

4 – Fold on the Score lines

5 – Glue Together with either snail adhesive or tear & tape along the edge

6 – I snipped the top to make it easier to pull the nail file out

7 – Then cut a solid piece of cardstock 5″ x 1 1/4″

8 – Glue the holder onto the solid piece of cardstock

9 – Cut a 3/4″ x 3″ strip and wrap around then decorate

10 – I used a circle punch on the nail file for the the ribbon (I found nail files at Walmart 24 files for less then $3.00)

I hope you like my gift idea that you can share with your friends and family.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! On Stage Celebration

Hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday.

Arrived home last night from the most uplifting 3 day convention that I have ever attended.  I drove to Orlando Florida to celebrate Stampin’ Up!’s 30th Anniversary On Stage Event.

I got to Hang out with a few thousand new friends who all love rubber stamps, ink and paper.

This picture is just a portion of the demonstrators.  Can you find me in the sea of Pink Stampers?

I feel like the luckiest person to be part of this amazing Stampin’ Up! Family.

If you would like to become part of our family, I would love for you to join my team.  Contact me if you have any questions.

Tomorrow I will start sharing more pictures and great card ideas that I watched being demonstrated.  I learned something new everyday.

Until the next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Joan 🙂
