A Fun 17th Birthday Cricut Card Idea

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

I love making box cards.  There are so many cricut card ideas floating around in my head LOL.  Cricut Box cards are the perfect canvas for any holiday or special occasion, and you can customize your card so easily.

This is the box card that I made for our niece who was celebrating her 17th Birthday.  She is now allowed to drive and I thought this would be really cute way to celebrate this special birthday.

I used my Cricut Explore Air machine to cut out all of the images.  For the stars in the front, I used the Martha Stewart “fringe” scissor and then punched out stars with a Fiskar paper punch.  Glued each star onto the front and back of the fringe. (Yes that was a lot of work but it was well worth it because i think it looks great) 🙂

And you know I needed to add some “bling” on this card and what better then some Martha Stewart ultra fine glitter.  I think it was the perfect choice.

Graduation Cricut Card Idea

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

June is a busy month especially because  lots of children will be graduating from kindergarten, middle school, high school and college too!

Our Great Niece just graduated and is heading to Kindergarten 🙂

Using my Cricut machine I had a cute Cricut Card Idea and created this card.

Cricut Card Idea for A Sweet Sixteen Birthday

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

Celebrating special birthdays are more fun when you get to create a birthday card using a Cricut Explore Air Machine and rubber stamps 🙂

Today I am sharing a card that I made for our niece Nicole who is having her Sweet Sixteen Birthday.  I am really starting to feel old… LOL

The cake was made with the Cricut Explore Air and the candles with a stamp and thin die cut set from The Stamps of Life.

I stamped 16 candles on white cardstock then put it through the Cuttlebug® Machine using the matching candle die cut.  I love die cuts because it so much easier and quicker then cutting each image out with a scissor.  Colored each one using Copic Sketch markers.

Then the fun part came when I put it all together using ATG tape and also dimensional to make layers of candles.

Another great thing about handmade greeting cards is that if your creation doesn’t fit on a regular A2 size card, you can make it any size that you need too!

Happy 1st Birthday Step Up Card

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

I had so much fun making this birthday card for our great nieces 1st Birthday.

happy birthday

This Cricut Explore Air machine is the BEST and using the Design Space to create these fun looking cards is so much easier then I expected (since I am really not a computer person) 🙂

I also used the Cuttlebug with an embossing folder to get the flower image onto the white cardstock.

There are so many great things about the Cricut Explore and Design space but what I have noticed is that I am not wasting paper anymore. I know exactly where everything is going to cut on the cutting mat because your computer screen shows what piece of the image is going to cut next.  I think that’s SUPER COOL 🙂

Creating Graduation Card Using Cricut Explore Air

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

Hope you are enjoying your day.  Today I want to share with you a card that I made for our nephew who graduated high school.

Using my new Cricut Explore Air Wireless Cutting Machine was AWESOME 🙂

Finally took the leap from the Cricut Expression to the Explore Air and I am so happy.  I am still learning how to use the design space, but with the videos that Cricut has available, I am doing better then expected LOL

The  Cricut Cartridge, Wild Card  is what I used when making this graduation cap and it was super easy and fun.  But I guess when you are crafting and doing something that you love it is always fun 🙂

~ Congratulations Luke ~
