It has been a busy couple of months for Birthdays in our family. Today I am sharing a handstamped birthday card I made for our niece Riley. She spent her birthday on a boat, so I thought this card would be great!
Close To My Heart has the most wonderful stamps sets, thin cuts, ink colors and cardstock to make it super easy to create beautiful greeting cards and scrapbook pages. I just love this sapphire blue ink and cardstock.

I had so much fun making this birthday card for our great nieces 1st Birthday.
This Cricut Explore Air machine is the BEST and using the Design Space to create these fun looking cards is so much easier then I expected (since I am really not a computer person) 🙂
I also used the Cuttlebug with an embossing folder to get the flower image onto the white cardstock.
There are so many great things about the Cricut Explore and Design space but what I have noticed is that I am not wasting paper anymore. I know exactly where everything is going to cut on the cutting mat because your computer screen shows what piece of the image is going to cut next. I think that’s SUPER COOL 🙂

Close To My Heart has the cutest Flamingo stamp set and coordinating thin cut set called Tickled Pink.
So many people think of Florida when they see Flamingo’s so I think this stamp set was made just for me, since I am a Floridian 🙂
All different kind of greeting cards can be made with this Tickled Pink set, but also think of accents for scrapbook pages, party invitations and decorations…
And remember just because its called Tickled Pink does not mean you have to make them pink. You can use any color ink that you want. That’s the best thing about creating your own paper crafts 🙂

Using my new Cricut Explore Air Wireless Cutting Machine
Finally took the leap from the Cricut Expression to the Explore Air and I am so happy. I am still learning how to use the design space, but with the videos that Cricut has available, I am doing better then expected LOL
