Stampin’ Up! So Santa Card Idea

Tis the Season to make #HandmadeCards and I have the perfect stamp set to do just that.  Stampin’ Up!’s So Santa stamp set is so super cute!

I know that Santa and snow go together but when you live in Florida like I do you don’t see snow so that is why this Santa looks perfect with his feet in the sand instead of snow 🙂

I love the way this card turned out, and it was so simple to make.  I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored in with Stampin’ Blends! Added some layers of Whisper White and Real Red Cardstock and that’s it. A simple fun handmade card!

I will share another card tomorrow that I made from the same stamp set.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.  My day started watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, followed by family and delicious food 🙂

Now I have to get into the Christmas Spirit and start creating some card ideas.

I started with a stamp set bundle that I purchased from the Holiday Catalog called Making Christmas Bright  and I want to share with you a video that I made using this great stamp set bundle.

You can order everything that you see on the video on my Stampin’ Up! shopping page at theislandstamper.stampinup.net

Thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to visit.  Come back soon to see what else I will be creating for Christmas.

Until next time my friends,

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Escape Gift Idea

Happy Thursday Everyone

I want to share with you a gift idea that I made for all of my new stamping team mates that I met last week in Orlando at the Stampin’ Up! On Stage Event.

I love this Stampin’ Up! Tropical Escape Suite.  You can order these items by just clicking on the links below.

Tropical Chic stamp set with the Tropical Thinlits and you cant forget the Tropical Escape Designers Series Paper.

These were so much fun to make and super easy too!

Step-By-Step Instructions:

Cardstock cut at 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″

1 – Score at 1″, 2″ and 4 3/4″

2 – Snip off the to ends

3 – Snip diagonally to make a tab

4 – Fold on the Score lines

5 – Glue Together with either snail adhesive or tear & tape along the edge

6 – I snipped the top to make it easier to pull the nail file out

7 – Then cut a solid piece of cardstock 5″ x 1 1/4″

8 – Glue the holder onto the solid piece of cardstock

9 – Cut a 3/4″ x 3″ strip and wrap around then decorate

10 – I used a circle punch on the nail file for the the ribbon (I found nail files at Walmart 24 files for less then $3.00)

I hope you like my gift idea that you can share with your friends and family.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Stampin’ Up! On Stage Celebration

Hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday.

Arrived home last night from the most uplifting 3 day convention that I have ever attended.  I drove to Orlando Florida to celebrate Stampin’ Up!’s 30th Anniversary On Stage Event.

I got to Hang out with a few thousand new friends who all love rubber stamps, ink and paper.

This picture is just a portion of the demonstrators.  Can you find me in the sea of Pink Stampers?

I feel like the luckiest person to be part of this amazing Stampin’ Up! Family.

If you would like to become part of our family, I would love for you to join my team.  Contact me if you have any questions.

Tomorrow I will start sharing more pictures and great card ideas that I watched being demonstrated.  I learned something new everyday.

Until the next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Country Home Stamp Set Perfect for Fall Cards

The new Holiday Catalogs is available and I love every stamp set and Designer Series Paper packets that’s inside.  And  a lot of these new products have a new home inside my “Craft World” 🙂

This stamp set called Country Home and it is becoming my Fall favorite.

I just love these cards and the great thins is that  you can color them any way that you want.

I used Stampin’ Blends on the first card using Light Old Olive, Dark and Light Cajun Craze, Dark and Light Blackberry Bliss and Dark Crumb Cake.

And the other card I used the Classic Stampin’ Pads Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Tranquil Tide with the Aqua Painter for the water color look.

Leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite stamp set is in the new Holiday Catalog.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Joan 🙂
