Jar of Flowers Card Idea without the Jar

I’m not sure if you can tell but I really love this new stamp set Jar Of Flowers.

And, you don’t always have to put the flowers in the jar.

For this card I stamped the image of the flowers twice on Whisper White cardstock and then cut out the images after I colored them with Stampin’ Blends.

Then stamped the stems using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a strip of Crumb Cake cardstock.  Then before adhering to the card base I wrapped the stem strip with new In Color Bumblebee Ribbon and attached a bow.

Then using the new Stampin’ Seal adhesive and also Stampin’ Dimensionals I added the flowers to the card base.

I really like the way it turned out and I betcha I will be creating this same design but using the other flowers that are in this stamp set with coordinating ribbon.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

Butterfly Gala Thank You Cards

Hope you are doing well and enjoying your summer.

Can you believe it’s July already.  I have been staying busy creating cards using some of the new stamp sets in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.

I needed to make Thank You cards for all my June customers and I wanted to showcase the new In Colors for 2020-2022.

The names of the new In Colors are great!  We now have Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Bumble Bee, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight.  I think my favorite is going to be Magenta Madness, but they are all beautiful.

The new In Colors Cardstock with Butterfly Gala Stamp Set was a perfect combo to make these Thank You cards.  Some of you may know that I love polka dots and I was super excited that the In Color Designers Series Paper had polka dots this year along with other designs too but Yahoo for the dots!!

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

New Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Card Idea

I am so excited to share with you a card idea using one of the new stamp sets “Jar Of Flowers” that will be available for purchase on June 3rd from the New Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.

This Jar Of Flowers stamp set is awesome!  You can make four different jars of flowers.  In this card I used the Tulip bouquet, there is also a Sunflower and I believe the other two are Roses and Poppies but I am not sure.  What I am sure about is that they are all really pretty and can be used for so many occasions by just using the appropriate sentiment.

Oh my goodness I almost forgot to tell you is this Stamp Set comes in a bundle that included a Mason Jar punch for a dimensional look.  And talking about dimension there is also Mason Jar Shaker Domes that fit the stamped & punched image.  I used the shaker dome in my picture above.  You can see the shiny reflection that looks like a real mason jar with the flower stems inside the jar.

When you use a shaker dome you can add sequins or any element that you like.  I left mine empty so it looked like it was filled with water.

You will be able to see this Beautiful Jar Of Flowers Bundle on page 12 of the new 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

I will be sharing my card ideas using the other 3 flower bouquet images as soon as I finish creating.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy the SUnshine!

One More Card Idea Using Stampin’ Up! Inspiring Iris Stamp Set

This month I have shared with you card ideas using all the flowers in the Inspiring Iris Stamp Set and I think this last flower in this set is a rose but I am really not sure.

But, what I am sure about is that it makes a really pretty patterned paper.  I think by not using the detailed stamps when creating this card gave it a more abstract looking design.

Hope my card ideas inspired you to create some cards for yourself.

I want to say Thanks for being part of my stamping family and I also hope you are all doing as good as you can through this uncertain time in all of our lives.

Until next time my friends,

Enjoy The SUnshine!

Joan 🙂
