Description
The Etching Tool for the Cricut Explore One fits in the blade housing unit; just remove the blade and insert The Etching Tool. It can be used to engrave and etch plastics, acrylics, metal clay, and can also etch/engrave on flat metal (copper, bronze, silver, aluminum) as long as the metal can fit under the Cricut rollers. Although the tool theoretically could etch steel/stainless steel, the machines don’t provide enough pressure for success. It may also etch on glass and some papers. Test before investing in expensive media. Please note that this tool does NOT work in any machine but the one indicated in this listing.
- For use in the Cricut Explore ONE only.
- DOES NOT WORK IN THE Cricut Explore, Explore Air, Explore Air 2 or any other machine. This tool only works in the Cricut Explore One machine.
- The housing is made of lightweight aluminum and the tip is very hard carbide.
