This is my review of the Cricut Solutions Cartridge –Christmas Noel

If you are looking for a simple, yet elegant looking Christmas themes then I think this Christmas Noel Cricut Solutions cartridge is for you.

This Cricut Solutions cartridge Christmas Noel has many wonderful images just without a lot of function keys.  Solution cartridges do not come with an instruction manual like the full cartridges do, and the only function keys on this cartridge are the Shadow and Blackout.  But do not let that discourage you from buying this great cartridge.

There is the classic look of Father Christmas, along with beautiful filigree ornaments.  These ornaments remind me of the ones that my Grandparents use to have on their Christmas tree when I was growing up.  There are also lacey looking Christmas trees, Nutcracker in the shape of a Soldier, Mistletoe, Angels, and so many other beautiful Christmas shapes.

They have the cutest old fashion Rocking Horse and Train set that would look great on your scrapbook page of you and your family on Christmas morning.

Here are two 12×12 scrapbook pages that I made using this Christmas Noel Cricut Solutions cartridge.

The first is a Sign Post.  I cut the post out of brown cardstock at 10 inches.  Then using the same sign key but using the shift button I cut out the sign using specialty cardstock from me & my Big ideas Holiday pack.  Then I cut it again using plain white paper just so that I could get the rectangle to make my sign.  Using my Zig silver metallic marker I colored the chain and knobs so that they would look like a real post and outlined them with just a black Zig marker.  I then used a rubber stamp for the message on my sign.  The stamp is from Judi-Kins that I bought a long time ago and the saying is just perfect for a rubber stamper like me.  I finished it off with some Prima flowers and a mini brad.

The next layout that I made was with the Rocking Horse.  I cut him out at 5 inches using brown cardstock.  Then using the same key but this time with the shift I cut out all the layers using black and red cardstock.  For the yellow I used the shadow key to make the horse stand out just a bit more on my layout.  And I just had to add some red Stickles to the reigns of the horse for that holiday “glitz”.  I also used a Zig marker to make stitch marks on the saddle.  The word Christmas was also cut from this cartridge and  it was cut at 2 and  1/4 inches.

All I can say is that this is just another Great Cricut Cartridge.  If you don’t believe me, then you will have to check it out for yourself.

Make it a Great Day and don’t forget to leave time to Craft!
