Two Cricut Cartridges Makes For One Perfect Pear Criut Card Idea
I just love these machines, that is my Cricut Expression and Gypsy. If you have the smallest Cricut Card Idea, you can make it into the best card idea ever. If you are in the "crafty world" you have seen this pear before. But when you actually make it yourself it is sooo perfect, cute and also quick. All I did was cut out two pears using the From My Kitchen Cricut Cartridge using the Cricut Expression machine. Then using my Gypsy and the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge I typed the words and also welded them together so that they would cut ...
Another Great Cricut Card Idea using the Paisley Cricut Cartridge for a Really Fun Birthday Card
I just got a new cell phone, a cute little Jest from Verizon. My previous phone was really old and it was just a phone, no keyboard or any of the cool things that a cell phone has now a days. So this new phone has a keyboard for text messaging and a pretty large screen so that I can see what I’m typing and most importantly what is being sent to me. Now that I am all up to date with my new phone, my niece and nephews are "texting" me, and it’s really great to be in touch ...

We will be going to a friends house for a BBQ on the 4th and you know that I will be taking pictures to capture the fun. The best part of the 4th for me is watching the firework display in the evening. It's funny, I am petrified of fireworks when I am close to ...
A Rubber Stamp And Some Copic Sketch Markers Make the Perfect Father’s Day Card
I wanted this years handmade Father's Day card to have a special meaning. My husbands parents have alot of bird feeders on there lake front property and they love to see all the beautiful birds that come to the feeders. They also have bears that frequently help themselves to the bird food. So for this years card I used the House Mouse rubber stamp and colored in the image with Copic Sketch markers. Handmade Birthday Cards Are So Much Fun To Make When You Have A Cricut Expression Machine And A Great Cricut Card Idea
I always loved to make handmade cards, but it is so much fun with a Cricut Expression machine. My nephew is turning 13 and I needed to make a "cool" card. When Luke was out visiting us a few years ago, we were always laughing so I wanted his card to make him laugh. So using the Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge I cut out the cow and all of the layers. Added some stickles to give him (the cow) a little "pizazz". Then using the Cricut Gypsy, I welded together the phrase for the front of the card using Plantin Schoolbook ...
Making a Handmade Get Well Card Using Copic Sketch Markers and House Mouse Rubber Stamp
Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Today I needed to make a get well card and wanted a change of pace from using my Cricut Expression to using rubber stamps. I knew that I had the cutest House Mouse stamp that would be perfect to use with Copic Sketch markers. So I stamped the image of white card stock using Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Colored in the image with some Copic Sketch markers. I then cut the stamped image to 4 1/2 " x 2 3/4" and with my EK Success corner punch I rounded the edges. I placed ...
Another Cute Birthday Cricut Card Idea Made With The Celebrations And Designer Calendar Cricut Cartridges
Our niece Riley's 11th birthday is next week and again I wanted to made a cute card using my cricut. What 11 year old girl doesn't like cake and presents? So I used those two things for the front of the card. I cut out the cake from the Designer's Calendar Cricut cartridge and the present from the Celebrations Cricut cartridge, both using my Cricut Expression machine. I cut the cake on plain white cardstock then colored in the image with Copic Sketch markers and then added some "bling" with stickles to the frosting of the cake and the flame of the ...
A Fun Summer Handmade Greeting Card For A Pool Side Birthday Party
I have been having so much fun with these House Mouse Rubber Stamps lately. Have you ever just gone shopping in your own craft room, finding things that you didn't know or forgot that you had? Well I think these House Mouse Rubber Stamps have a theme for just about anything. My girlfriend was having a pool side birthday party so I had to keep with that theme for her handmade birthday card. I used the House Mouse Bunny Cruise stamp. I first stamped the image in white cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Dye Ink. Then I colored the image with Copic ...
Another Cute Birthday Cricut Card Idea Made With The Celebrations And Designer Calendar Cricut Cartridges
Our niece Riley’s 11th birthday is next week and again I wanted to made a cute card using my cricut. What 11 year old girl doesn’t like cake and presents?
So I used those two things for the front of the card. I cut out the cake from the Designer’s Calendar Cricut cartridge and the present from the Celebrations Cricut cartridge, both using my Cricut Expression machine.
I cut the cake on plain white cardstock then colored in the image with Copic Sketch markers and then added some “bling” with stickles to the frosting of the cake and the flame of the candle.
The present I cut out on two different shades of purple but again added Stickles onto the bow to add a little sparkle to the present.
I then used my Cuttlebug and embossed a light green plaid piece of cardstock with a star embossing folder, layered that onto a solid piece of purple cardstock and finished with a polka dot bow, using American Craft ribbon.
I think this came out really cute and for the inside saying I printed on the computer: Happy Cake and Presents Day!
Wishing Riley a Very Happy Birthday!
Make it a Great Day and don’t forget to leave time to Craft!
A Rubber Stamp And Some Copic Sketch Markers Make the Perfect Father’s Day Card

Now how does a bear come into this Fathers Day Card, well here is the inside of the card. I computer generated the saying but then I cut out a bear with my Cricut Expression machine using the Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge. Well I had to crop the inside since when I took the picture it had our mushy sentiments inside but this is what is said:

Making A Father’s Day Card With The Cricut Expression And The Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge
With Father’s Day just around the corner, I wanted to make a fun Cricut card for my Dad. Last month when I was visiting my family, we were getting silly one afternoon and were all making fish faces. I even got my Dad to make one. Anyway, I wanted his card to have a memory of that silly afternoon.
I went through my Cricut Cartridges and the Animal Kingdom was the winner again. There is a Fishy Kisses saying along with a fish face. It was so simple to make with just three layers, but ohhhhhhh so cute.
Happy Father’s Day Dad ~ You’re the Best!

Oops I almost forgot the grass is also from Plantin Schoolbook grass border.
For the inside of the card I used the Beyond Birthdays Cricut cartridge for the phrase Happy Birthday and then I found a similar font for the birthday boys name.
Hope you enjoyed my birthday card, and my funny sense of humor. Wishing Luke a Fantastic 13th Birthday!

A Great Cricut Card Idea for a Get Well Card Using Life’s A Beach Cartridge
Happy Tuesday Everyone ~ Hope you are all having a Wonderful Day
Today I needed to make a get well card for a dear friend who is going through a rough patch with his health. I’m sure that he is receiving alot of cards with your typical message inside. I on the other hand wanted to make him a handmade get well card to definitely put a smile on his face, so I decided to make a Get Whale Soon Card.
I cut the whale with my Cricut Expression machine using the Life’s A Beach Cricut cartridge, along with the border of waves.
Then I used my Cricut Gypsy for the inside message using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge for the font and the welding function to attach the letters together.
I had to give this card some “bling” so I used Baby Blue Stickles to add to the waves, and also made some polka dots on the letters with my Zig writer marker.
I hope that this card is what the doctor ordered to put a smile on his face. Hope you like it too!
Make it a Great Day and don’t forget to leave time to Craft!
